  • Indus trading concern (ITC) is a firm (proprietorship concern) dealing with indigenously hand crafted items in Kashmir. It is based in Srinagar.

  • The concern can provide high quality handicraft items with wide range of selection. It includes intricately woven shawls (including kani jamawars), stoles / scarfs, head garments (rumals) etc. Besides, spectral range of paper machie items, carpets (Kashmiri, Persian), chain stitch etc. are available at suitable rates.

  • Yes, the firm is registered with local Directorate of Handicrafts. Besides, the firm (Indus Trading Concern) is the member of KCCI (Kashmir Chamber Of Commerce And Industries), Export Promotion Council Of Handicrafts (EPCH).   • All the products before their sale are put to test. Govt agencies like Crafts Development Institute testifies the quality of products of the firm. The seal of same has to be on our items.

After receiving the ‘Letter Of Intent’ the firm shall send the samples with the codes of the items the customer wants to buy. Customer is required to send his/her approval of same. After seeking the approval, this firm will send supply items as per the period stipulated for same.

  • For domestic buyers, good/goods are supplied within one or one and half months. For international buyers, same can be supplied within two months. However, in case very large quantity, period for supply can be extended. Same in intimated to buyers.

  • The " Letter of Intent " is the expression of interest by customer to buy the goods (codified) from the firm. The buyer/customer is required to send same to firm via email before placing the order.

  • Customer is required to make payment electronically by PayPal, Paytm, credit card, debit card, direct transfer and other viable means. However, payment is deemed to have been received when same is credited into the account of firm.

  • Yes, the customer is required to make 60% payment in advance.

  • The time period for supply of goods reckon from the date 60% advance payment is credited into the account of firm by customer.

  • 40% is payable after the products / goods are actually received by the customers.

  • Yes, all the goods (as provided in gallery of firm) are suitably branded and codified to make it easy for customers to place an order.

  • Yes, the goods can be purchased in bulk. Same can be provided to domestic customers within period of one or one and half months. International buyers can receive supply within minimum of two months.

  • There is no ceiling/ limit in supply of products / goods. However, for very large order of supply of goods, this firm may require more time period than stipulated. This can be communicated to customers in advance.
